Guest guest
Namaste beloved Swamiji, in reading i have come across that the 10 sons of brama are the 10 prajapatis. i am wondering the literal meaning of the words praja and pati? why is there the saptarishis, but then 3 extra as the prajapatis, are they not rishis? and also i am wondering if these are also what are known as the 10 sons of indu? thank you for your continual guidance! love, dan ! Guest guest
Dear Swamiji ~ when I recite the Chandi Path and other sacred scriptures, I recite each verse, first in the Sanskrit transliteration and secondly, in English. Of course this takes twice as long, I fiall behind in the group sankalpas, and I get discouraged. If I recite only the Sanskrit, without the English, will I receive the same benefit from the recitation? Thank you so very much for your guidance ~ Linda (in Lowell, MA) gordon wrote: Namaskar swamiji,I have been facing lots of work issues and now loads of false accusations on me, I am worried and now this is affecting my health and family too, is there anything that I can do? My wife regularly does lalita sahasranaam and when I get time I do chandi I do admit not regularly, and as i dont read sanskrit i read it in english, could you please pray and guide me.thanksgordon
Guest guest
Dear Linda We usually just chant the Sanskrit during all sankalpas. The English translation is optional.
