Prayers for departed souls

I had a question for Swamiji.

 

What mantra should we recite for someone who has died recently?

Of course, Hindus burn the dead, but when visiting a grave is there some Mantra

that one could chant for the soul of the dear departed?

 

There was a death recently in the family that made me wonder...
