Guest guest
Namaste Linda and all: So glad you are experiencing these moments of " being " while in action. Chanting, or simply remembering the mantra whenever possible, is very helpful to me. I feel more relaxed and settled when chanting. Sometimes I begin a task with the intention of chanting, but the task requires 100% focus and I have to stop the mantra. So I take each task and repeat the mantra as much as possible, and when I discover it is too difficult, and I feel strained, I just stop. Then, when I get through with the task, the mantra will come of its own accord, and I will stay with it as much as possible. Typically Om Namah Shiva comes and goes, weaving through my activities. When I awake early in the morning, but am not ready to arise, I begin the mantra and repeat it while laying in bed. It is much better than just " thinking " about " stuff " .
