But especially efficacious is to make Navaratri of Pratipad to Navami (1st to 9th day of Lunar fortnight) or Saptami to Pournami/Amavasya (7th day to Full New Moon/New Moon). And then take a sankalpa. Today is Saptami. I took a sankalpa to daily chant Chandi, do 3 malas of japa, and a short puja (I think 1/2 hour) from Cosmic Puja book for the next 9 days.
