Guest guest
Namaste Manjushri and all: several times I have had the honor of taking the sankalpa of praying for departed souls for the 11 days after death. It is very very powerful and really helps one to experience the oneness of all life. Even when we pray for departed souls we do not know, we feel the connection to them as we pray that they rise to the highest heaven. And, we also ask them to send their blessings to us. When one is related to, or we are close to the departed soul, then the feeling of helplessness and sorrow is replaced with love and gratitude for a life well lived, the end of suffering, the liberation of a soul, and the joy that we can give something real and positive to our loved one. It is amazing, as we talk about using mantras to create a connection every moment to God, that we can use them to help a disembodied soul loose the bonds to Earth, and rise into the lap of Mother and Lord Shiva. I am so thankful that there are mantras for every occasion and that we know how to use them for our highest good. Maa, grant us thy Grace that we may remember them always. Take the energy away from ego centered thoughts, and put it into these Divine Mantras. God bless Maa and Swami and our thanks to them for teaching us and guiding us always. May we become one with them Jai Maa Jai Swami vishweshwar , " misra_manjusha " <misra_manjusha wrote: > > Namaste Nanda, > > Thanks for taking time out to respond! > I wonder why I could not find it in the Q & A search! > This is really useful.
