Guest guest
Namaste Everyone! Just a few days back Ramya was telling me that it had become a sort of tradition over the past couple of years that Chat Group Members would send their Mother's Day wishes and sentiments to Shree Maa via the " posts " . So we have a slightly different invitation to each and everyone of you OLD OR NEW CHAT GROUP MEMBERS this year: take a few moments now to reflect back over THIS past year and share a few words in a post about " What you received from Divine Mother (from Shree Maa herself or any form of Divine Mother) that you value. As much as possible, try to be very specific about the thing(s) you received, whether it was in words, a gesture, a teaching, a lesson, a blessing, a special gift, some wisdom, etc. I think you get the idea? For this Mother's Day, let's demonstrate our attitude of gratitude, and shower Her with our love unquestionable appreciation. And to all you Mother's and Grandmother's, and every Mother-Bakti filled with her Pure Love. . . Happy Mother's Day!!! Kamala
Guest guest
I have received everything from Divine Mother just as soon as I was ready to receive them. The following is a quote from a meditation book that I have and it applies so perfectly to Divine Mother: I have come to understand that acceptance also means taking the gifts my Higher Power offers. These gifts - serenity, courage, wisdom, and love - are freely given. My Higher Power puts these gifts before me every minute of my life. I need only accept them. Sometimes I am blind to them or refuse to believe they are really mine. I see strings attached when, in reality, I am being offered the gift of freedom. However, the gifts never stop being offered, even when I reject them. No matter what I do or do not do, these gifts are never withdrawn. Acceptance means we can take these gifts which have always been, and will always be, meant for us. Maa has given me a new home, with a loving understanding partner, many new spiritual tools and inspirations from Swamaji and Shree Maa, a forum where I can say out loud that this is my spiritual path and can share my thoughts and hear the inspiring remarks you all have to say. Maa, You have given me some trials and moments of despair, so that I could learn to overcome them and follow this path to the end as I see heroic devotees like Linda doing. I look in wonder on Shree Maa. I am not able to comprehend a being for whom samadhi is a natural occurence. If I should chance to go into such a state it would be the most amazing experience of my life, if I should ever get back to normal consciousness. And She and Swamiji enter into this state as a part of everyday life and have limited its happening so that they may talk to and teach us! Astounding. For all these things and many more, my Loving Mother, my thanks. I see how long the road is, but I am encouraged that you are here in this world with us, your children. Never leave us! Happy Mothers Day! Jai Shree Ma! Jai Ma Kali! Jai Shiva! Jai Swamiji! Guest guest
Namaste Kamalaji, Thanks for this opportunity. Love and Happy Mother's day to all Mothers. ----------------- Over the year Beloved Mother has taught this child many lessons but the one which I would like to say a special "thank you Mother" occurred quite recently. Earlier in the year I sent a money order issued through the local post office to a non-profit organization in the USA. The bank there did not honour the order and instead of giving the original draft the bank issued a bank copy which was returned to me. The post office here refused to refund the money saying that they needed the original document. I proceeded to seek the organization's help in getting the original document back so that I could be refunded. In the evening my husband asked if I succeeded with the refund, I told him no and then went on to tell him that I had written the organization seeking their help in getting the original document back as I did not want to lose the money. He promptly turned to me and said, "Why did you do that, you are attached, let it go. You have already given it and though the person for whom you intended it did not get it, God gave it to the one who needed it at that time. If you gave it with a willing heart, let it go." These words really startled me for I know that it was Beloved Shree Maa speaking through him. That night I sat humbled before my altar, thinking on his words and thanking Mother for that great lesson. Now daily at varying times I ask Divine Mother to grant me a new attitude, Her attitude. To follow Your example Maa, this is my goal At times the road gets a bit rough, The mind plays tricks and the body seems tired If by Your Grace, my crown is Your footstool My heart Your home All else but the goal will fall away The objective then, is won May this day be filled with Your Bliss and may You be eternally blessed. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY BELOVED SHREE MAA. Guest guest
Three more things I would like to mention this Mothers Day. A physical problem that I have been suffering through has been greatly relieved. My hip and back pain have lessened, so that I am able to walk a distance easily that was extremely painful just a week or two ago. That opens the way for me to work on my health by excercising. Tomorrow is the day that I received my statue of Kali which is the heart of my temple and my Ishta Devata. Everything that has happened to me spiritually in the past year has developed out of that one event. I remember how excited I was that Ma Kali was coming to live with me. It totally surprised me. I have my temple set up in one of the bedrooms here, with lovely statues and flowers, it is becoming a place where puja and meditation is a joy to perform. I had a beautiful day today. I went to the mall and it was crowded, but all around me were friendly happy people and I had a couple of conversations with strangers who were so nice. The sun was out, even though the prediction was rain as of yesterday. I felt very blessed. Thank you Maa.
