Early next week (tues june 23) is beginning of summer navaratri. It is a special time of the year when we pray to Mother Durga to remove all obstacles. We pray for 9 days and it is a good time to take a sankalpa to do japa of a certain Mantra and/or chant Chandi path and/or do Durga Puja and/or do some other vow of prayer to come closer to the Divine. i am writing today - just to give a heads up for everybody If you are interested in doing a group sankalpa together, please write and we can figure out a beautiful way for all of us to share our love for Divine Mother in the Summer Navaratri! That's the best thing I can think of to do for this Navaratri. I would be interested in hearing what others would like to do, though. Jai Maa! Jai Swamiji! That was last years sankalpa and it was a joy +....would like to do so again.
