Guest guest
Namaste Linda and all family: so glad you are on the mend. I am sure all your family here will offer extra prayers for you during this powerful time of healing and rebalancing. We love you so much and can " see " you running and jumping and skipping in the tall grass. Maa and Swami are " working " overtime to mend this universe. How is it effecting everyone? I have been feeling " timeless " . While I do not feel this way very often, it is the " common " feeling when Maa and Swami perform deep sadhana. I feel that Maa and Swami carry us with them as they go deeper into their sadhana, spending more time in silence than in activity. Their love wraps around us, and shields us from the friction of time and activity, like a coat shields the body from the cold. You know it is cold around you, and you can see your breath, but it has little effect on your body. Likewise with " time " , we see it passing as the sun moves through the sky, and the clock spins around, but we feel unconnected to its passage. This is a time to steep ourselves in that silence and peace, and let loose the troubles and sorrows we carry, and let Maa and Swami massage away the strain, and reveal the reality of peace. On May 21 I had a total knee replacement (right knee) and then nearly a month at a rehab center, rehabbing from the surgery. It was a time to practice many lessons .... patience, selflessness and compassion (as there were so many who were worse off than I), acceptance. > > Now I am at home again, still getting rehabed ... a physical therapist is coming to my home 3 times a week. My knee is not back 100%, but I know with work, it will be. It is as the physical therapist says ... I have to push through the pain to continue gaining ground. Right now I am still walking with a walker and can't wait until I can stop using it ... but ... more patience. > > It comforted me greatly, knowing that my name was on the prayer list and that I was receiving prayer every week. It really helped me a lot. And I am also comforted to know I was missed. I thoughtet I had had written about the surgery, but I guess I didn't. The last several days before I went into to the hospital are a blur. > > And while I was gone, my mailbox got full so stopped sending me the digests. I am coming to the page to read them, and am so happy to be " seeing " everyone again. Thank you so much for thinking of me. Any idea. Since she was unwell, I was concerned by her long absence.
