Question from Dan:I am seeking to go deeper in learning sanskrit, and I figure I must start with the Dhatus. How can I go about learning the Dhatus (root words) of sanskrit in a translation that is as intuitive and insightful as Swamiji's translations - such as of the Chandi mantra. Is there any text that anyone knows of in English translation that will help?And also Swamiji were these intuitive dhatus transmitted to you from your lineage? or are they standard?Thank you all beautiful shining beings!Swamiji's response:These understandings come from the sadhana of our lineage, and they are expounded upon in various scriptures. I don't know if the Bija Nighantu is available in translation, but it was a great help to expand my understanding.
