Dear Neal, happy birthday to you from all your friends and family at the Devi Mandir ! Please accept this Gem of Wisdom from the Devi Mandir Treasure House, wrapped in our very best wishes: " Those who are merely pundits have no sincere devotion to God. One such pundit said, " God has no sweetness. " Can you imagine? The very source of all sweetness has no sweetness. That same pundit went on to say, " We must make God sweet through our love and devotion. " The Vedas say that God is of the very nature of sweetness and bliss. The shallow understanding of such pundits without realization of God is unsubstantial and worthless. It is like a child saying, " Look at those horses in the cow shed over there. " (All laugh.).
