Dear Kalia ~ I thought that all the goddesses in the Chandi were formed and came into being from Durga. If I have misunderstood this, please let me know. Jai Maa Jai Swamiji

Dear Linda,

Namaste. How are you?

Mahalakshmi was birthed in Chapter 2 from the effulgent light of the

Gods. The birth of the Goddesses appear in Chap 5 starting at vs 84,

they were birthed from the Goddess of Nature - the giver or sustainer of

life. Remember there is only one Goddess but are many manifestations

of that one Goddess.

Hope this helps.
