Guest guest
Namaste Srini, my thoughts are that your are doing us all a great service. It is only now that I understand 'shutulya' is not a word, and that I should take a look at the Devanagari if I cannot find something in the dictionary. Apparently, sometimes words that are one in Devanagari are separated in the transliteration at a seemingly illogical place (illogical to me, that is). thank you and I am looking forward to may more Cosmic Puja posts from you, with love, Henny , " srini_sadhu " <srini_sadhu wrote: > > The first part of the meditation on Maha Saraswati > > Ghantaa shula halaani shankha musale chakram dhanuh saayakam > hasthaabjair dadhatheem ghanantha vilasacceethaam shutulya prabhaam. > > ghanta: the bell of continuous tone > shula: the Pike of Concentration > hala: the plow sowing the seeds of the Way of Truth to Wisdom > shankha: The conch of vibrations > musal: the pestle of refinement (used to clean rice) > chakram: the discus of revolving time > dhanuh: the bow of determination > saayakam: the arrow of speech > hastha: hands > abja: lotus > dadatheem: bearing > Ghanantha vilasaccee thaamshu: whose radiance is like the moon in autumn > tulya: equal, like > prabhaam: beautiful appearance > > > Your thoughts are welcome. > > Love > srini >
