The Jiva and liberation. . .

I did read that Shree Maa has repeated the saying of, " neti, neti " .

Don't know if that helps you any since I know very, very little of the

particulars of this group. Btw, I think the Upanishads give excellent and

inspired alludings to on the subject you are asking about. I've studied some of

the Saiva Siddhanta materials which are also excellent although imo and by their

own account totally sectarian - if that is what you are looking for? I haven't

studied the works of Master Ramakrishna (Guru to Shree Maa) but it doesn't seem

that he could be very sectarian since he studied, practiced and understood

several very different religions!! (which is or seems highly unusual for his

time and even for this time!)

Also, imo questions about the absolute and final are tough and more or less

problematic since powers of the mind are limited and can not really answer such

questions...

but we can get to know the great, giving and pure life force which is a

wonderful quantum leap compared to going around and around mentally regarding

subjects such as these. Good Fortune to you.

Om Shanti

Namaste

Thanks for your reply, Bob

No, its not that I'm LOOKING for a particular sectarian view on that point, I

just wonder if their IS a particular viewpoint on the subject coming out of Devi

Mandir. Your point about not " going around and around mentally regarding

subjects such as these " is an excellent one. I'm a natural speculator, so its

hard for me to cop to hard core sectarian viewpoints anyway. When I say I've

been studying Saiva Siddhanta lately and it resonates, I don't mean every bit,

just the overall gist of it. Thanks again!
