Guest guest
The Chandi temple in Cuttack is one of the very few temples in India dedicated to MAA CHANDI the Supreme Goddess of Devi Mahatmyam (Chandi Path). The Deity is dressed in Rupa (Form) of different Goddesses during Navaratri and other festivals. These forms are according to the Dhyana slokas. I have uploaded 16 photographs of MAA CHANDI in different Rupas (Forms). The name of the Rupa/Form is given in my comment as well. Thanks to Maa Nanda for uploading the photographs for me. We do have Chandi temples in Kolkata (Chandithala) and Gowhati. But these are Mongol Chandi temples. Happy Navaratri !!! Jai MAA !!!

Guest guest
I like those pictures very much. Is that all the same idol, but dressed differently to represent the different aspects of Mother? I do something like that over Navaratri, dressing my Kali Ma as Durga, Sarasvati and Lakshmi when I am reading the different episodes. On a much simpler level, of course. Jai Shree Maa, Jai Swamiji!
