Guest guest
Dear Rosetta ~ what immediately came to mind was "Ma Devi Yoga" or "Ma Devi Peacefulness Yoga." I wish you the best in finding the right name and in your teaching endeavors. I had thought of something like "Yoga Saranam," but I don't know if that makes sense.I want people to feel that our yoga classes will be a peaceful refuge from the stresses that so many people are feeling now. (Also want people to understand that our yoga classes won't be for physical exercise only, but will always have a strong spiritual component.) Guest guest
Devi Sharanam - literally, taking refuge in the goddess.Yoga Sharanam would mean taking refuge in Yoga. This may be more appropriate to a wider variety of people, and the decoration of your yoga studio can reflect a further layer of meaning, as Yoga has the connotation both of disciplined practice and of union with the divine. -kulasundariOn Mon, Nov 9, 2009 at 5:44 AM, Venkat Machiraju <venkatmachiraju65 wrote: Devi Saranam - Yoga for Children of Mother Earth Devi Daya Yogasala - Mother's Compassion Yoga Centre From: nierikaDate: Sat, 7 Nov 2009 07:30:34 -0500[www.ShreeMaa.org] Re: to Rosetta about name for Yoga practice Dear Rosetta ~ what immediately came to mind was " Ma Devi Yoga " or " Ma Devi Peacefulness Yoga.
