Here is Swamiji's travel blog for today:

"This morning we will go to Rishikesh by train. Some friends are taking baggage and supplies in their car. They will meet us there. Swami Ramkripaluji will pick us up from the train station in Haridwar and drive us to his ashram in Rishikesh. It's about a 10 mile drive, but takes almost an hour on a good day. His ashram is right on the bank of Ganga in Maya Kunda, very close to where I lived in the 1970s, when I was translating the Chandi Path. We will be staying a few buildings down from his ashram, where the Khanna family built a really nice place.

Mr. Khanna, who actually lives in Delhi, came over last night and joined us in singing Sundar Kanda. He was really a lot of fun. He started talking to Srini in Hindi, whereupon Srini proclaimed: I don't understand Hindi language. Mr. Khanna replied that there is no need for language. I can see your love for God written on your face.

So we will move into his house this afternoon. In front of the house on the bank of Ganga is an banyan tree with a vedi, or stone and cement platform, built around it. That is where I love to sit to sing the Chandi in the early morning. It looks over the river to the mountains in the game reserve on the opposite shore. On many mornings elephants come down to bath and frolic in the waters of Ganga. I will let you know when I see some."

Swamiji also wrote "I have been walking around the Rose Garden in Haus Klaz every morning."

Doesn't that just make you sooooooooo joyful? I am so happy that Swamiji and Maa think of us and want us to share in their adventure!

Jai Maa! Jai Swamiji!
