Guest guest
Good Day Brothers and Sisters, Its Sunday, 18th October 2009 The week before Diwali begun on monday last and saw with it the shopping spree that gladdens many a business man's heart ... The recession is truly and officially gone and no one seems to be able to use it as an excuse anymore for anything with a commercial aspect .. The Stock market is booming and has acquired its bullishness as it normally does around Diwali and will see it through Saturday, 17th Oct also saw the traditional one hour Muhurat Trading from 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm ... The flurry of activity just before Diwali is like the flame of a candle that burns the brightest before going out .. and so it is with Diwali It is like a culmination of the festive season that began with Rakshabandhan and concludes with Bhaidooj ... Last week also saw the election on 13th October, the day for voting in assembly elections in maharashtra, which put a thankful stop to the blaring loudspeakers and traffic jams due to trucks full of supporters (hired as well as real) as they made their way to the public meetings .... Hopefully, the people have made an informed choice (60% voting) and again hoping it is what will be reflected in the poll results too .. And here's praying that no frog, rat or snake makes it to the winning post this time around ... A prayer also to God to bless those, who get elected with wisdom so that they rule peacefully and justly providing peace and security to the general population so that work for progress and prosperity can go on unhindered and achieve its goal of all round abundance .. The return of Lord Ram from exile to his rightful place on the Throne of Ayodhya is also a symbol and a call for the return of righteousness to its rightful place in the Hearts of Men ... for its only when the Hearts of men are ruled by the righteousness of Dharma, do we see and achieve the ideal of Ram Rajya otherwise we are all still living in the Lanka of desires ruled by Ravan, signifying power and knowledge made blind and corrupted by selfish desires and arrogance .. Here's hoping that Diwali heralds a time for inner reflection and being blessed with the courage to accept and walk on the path of righteousness towards the Ayodhya of spiritual bliss Wishing you all the best for the coming year in all spheres of Life and advancement at all levels ... On that positive note for all of us Here's And as a small gift, A wallpaper in GIF format about Goddess Lakshmi and another of Shri Hari Vishnu reclining in Golden splendour ... All yours on Diwali .... ENJOY Author of the article - Rahul D (bruntno1) --------- --------- --------- ------------ --- Your comments and feedbacks always welcome ..
