One of the Datta shodasa avatharas is MAYA YUKTHAAVADHOOTHA and it is "ekadasha" of them. Dattamahraj has taken this avathara on the day of Jaishta suddha Trayodhashi, Thursday at the time of Sunrise in Swathee star.

 

The main purpose of this avathara is to turn his devotees into "Moha paravasha". So, his devotees will get more happiness with this avathara which is unexplainable. This year, the day is coming on 9th June, 2006 (Friday). On this day, the devotees has to perform "ARGHYA" (leaving water in a plate) after chanting each following sloka. After completion of this Arghyapradan, the devotees has to donate Honey to a brahmin.

BHAKTHAA ARISHTA VINAASHAYA|| KARMA NAARGHYAM DADAAMYAHAM

3 sloka: YOGAARISHTA VINAASHAAYA|| DEVA DEVESHWARAAYACHA

JAMBHA DARPA VINAASHAAYA|| KARMA NAARGHYAM DADAAMYAHAM

We request the members of the group perform the above Arghya pradhana by chanting above 3 slokas on 9th june, 2006 and have the blessings of Lord Dattamahraj. By the grace of Dattaprabhu, we will be at Gaanagapur on 9th june, 2006 and will perform puja there.
