Respected Rama Sreenivasan ji, Namaskaram...jaigurudevadatta... I felt very happy to know your interest to start a shelter at Simhachalam for the abused and neglected cows. From the day of seing your message (2 months back) about the selling of cows, I wanted to perform a service programme and want to personally visit Simhachalam to know the reality. What u mentioned is perfectly true. But many persons of Simhachalam are not telling out about this. First, I enquired about any GOSHALA at Simhachalam and finally found the address of it and found the premises. It is heartfelt feelings that no single cow was there in GOSHALA. 2 little cows made with Cement were constructed at the entrance of Goshala and no cow was there. Some persons are residing in the Goshala with a neat building and with car.

What words are there to tell anything about the position of the cows there? Unknowingly water drops were fallen from our eyes by analysing the situation. Even a layman can tell about the position of the cows. So, returned from GOSHALA and went to Simhachala devasthana to enquire with the priests. They were also told that, no shelter was there for the cows. They are moving in the streets and eating the grass which is available on the roads and the in the lands of Simhachalam. Even the priests are also not feeding any cows in their houses. They confirmed that, some persons are selling the cows on the day of every Saturday market (SANTHA) at Simhachalam. So, no route was there for us except to feed the cows on that day and immediately, we arranged a service programme and purchased dozens of bananas and fed the empty stomach cows which are taking rest on the streets and instructed the other devotees at Visakhaptnam to continue the same in the coming days in a

continuous way atleast on Sundays. A report on the position of the cows at Simhachalam: ---------- No shelter was there for those cows at Simhachalam. Earlier, BHAJARANGDAL volunteers were also visited that place and analysed the situation. But they returned from there without any arrangements. So, now the position is same as in earlier. If u want to start a shelter at Simhachalam, first we have to visit there and have to stay for few days there and have to discuss with the local people and priests etc., Then, we have to think about the area where we have to construct or to take lease agreeement with the existing GOSHALA etc., At present the real estate boom is there from last 6 months in Andhrapradesh and especially the rates are goes on increasing especially at Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. New technical/knowledge parks and other

developments are coming in those cities and the rates of the land are very high in these areas. Even 200 sq yards of the land at Visakhapatnam in a remote place is now available at 15 lakhs of rupees. Though Simhachalam is nearly 20 kms from Visakhapatnam, the rates may be high. However I will contact the persons of the Visakhapatnam and will inform the rate at the earliest. I will extend my heartfull co-operation in this divine project. Dear All,

 

If anyone can donate any land near Simhachalam/Gopalpatnam/Vizag

area, we can build a Datta-Gosamrakshana shala.

 

I can see to it that it is taken care of properly.

 

Iam just waiting for my stuides to be over, then I intend to start

something for not just cows but all animals.

 

For example, please see how cruelly dogs in Bangalore are treated by

Corporation itself.

All these heart rending scenes do no good for us, for our

spirituality,for our love,etc. And people who are in Bangalore

watching all this mutely and then sitting in their poojarooms and

pryaing Sriguru Nrusimha saraswathy are the best hypocrites one can

find on earth as Dattatreya is identified with Four dogs symbolic of

four vedas. So in a way not just cow but also dogs are his symbol.

 

Why dogs, even cats,crows,pigs,etc are all creations of god and to

disrespct their life is to disrespect the very existence of God and

Love.

 

NO ONE CAN PROGRESS IN SPIRITUALITY IF THEY HAVE NO LOVE TOWARD

ANIMALS.
