Guest guest
Recently I visited a few holy places in India which included some Ramakrishna Mission Centers. Among the centers I visited, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama in Dehra Dun runs a charitable clinic. The Center operates Allopathic and Homeopathic Dispensary and a Mobile Medical Unit to cater for needy residents of the neighbouring towns. They serve thousands of tribal patients and provide best treatment free. The Ashrama is doing a great SEVA for the sick persons. The Center is in need of funds for the current operations and future growth. May I request all who can afford, to kindly think of the poor and in keeping with Swami Vivekanandaji's teaching of service to the poor, contribute towards maintenance of such a great service center. If you want to donate or if you need further information, please contact: Swami Jagadishananda, Secretary, RK Mission Ashrama Kishanpur, DEHRA DUN, UP 248009 INDIA. Wishing You all a Happy Diwali and May Sri Thakur Bless us all, Mohan Dadlani __________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.amexmail.com/?A=

Guest guest
" Where should you go to seek for God? Are not all the poor, the miserable, the weak, gods? Why not worship them first? Why go to dig a well on the shores of the Ganga? Let these people be your God-think of them, pray for them incessantly-the Lord will show the way. " Swami Vivekananda Some sincere devotees of Sri Ramakrishna are abiding by Swamiji's advice and have helping build Somsar Sri Ramakrishna Seva Mandir and providing community services for the residents. Somsar is a quiet village that stands with its serene beauty on the bank of the river Damodor, in West Bengal. It is the holy birthplace of the Revered Swami Bhuteshanandaji Maharaj, the Twelfth President of the Ramakrishna Order. Revered Swami passed away in August 1998. His personal physician and devotee Dr. Gour Das has undertaken the task of coordinating efforts to complete this community development project with help of Senior Monks of Ramakrishna Order and fellow devotees. The Seva Mandir Committee is planning to observe the birth centenary of late Swami Bhuteshanandaji Maharaj in the year 2001 and publish a book on Swamiji's life and teachings. All those who want to send any articles or make financial contributions are requested to contact Dr. Gour Das via e mail somsar or via mail: SOMSAR SRI RAMAKRISHNA SEVA MANDIR 10/139 HUDCO Estate 95 Bidhan Nagar Rd Calcutta 700 054, India Tel # 91-33- 334 9900/358 8084 __________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.amexmail.com/?A=
