Guest guest Posted November 11, 2008 Report Share Posted November 11, 2008 Thiruvabaranam (New boxes) A new set of boxes (3 Nos.) made for Pandalam Thiruvabaranam, under the supervision of an Ayyappa devotee trust based in Chennai - 'Pandalam Harihara Seva Trust'. This year Ayyappa's Thiruvabaranam will be taken from Pandalam to Sabarimala (on 14th Jan) in this sandal wood, silver & other precious metal clad carved boxes. These boxes will be used for minimum 8 years from this year. Most of the works in these nice carved boxes are done in Bangalore. From 2nd Nov these boxes were kept in various devotees' places and in many temples of Chennai. Tomorrow these boxes are leaving Chennai through Trivandram Mail by 4 PM. The credit of making those boxes goes to " 'Pandalam Harihara Seva Trust' "; They have taken so much pain, with devotion. Many contributed for the cost involved in that; We are also one among them blessed to get that opportunity..
