Guest guest Posted December 9, 2008 Report Share Posted December 9, 2008 Dear Swamies, Swamy Saranam! With these holy words, I begin with experience of my pilgrimage this year which ended just today! I live in Bangalore & this was my 3rd visit to Sabarimala & the recent one was after a gap of 15 years…I commenced my Deeksha on October 21st, 2008 after the Maladharan at the temple. We left Bangalore for the holy trip on 5th December, 2008 with visits to 5 temples on our way including Sree Valayanadu Devi Temple, Thiruvannur Siva Temple, Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple, Kodungallur Bhagavathi Temple and Chottanikkara Devi Temple. We halted for a night at Chottanikkara & resumed journey early morning straight to Erumeli & then proceeded to Pamba. Reached Pamba on the Day 3 afternoon & immediately proceeded tp Sannidhanam after a holy dip(The water's level is pretty decent this time unlike what I heard in the past few years). We had 2 Darshans that evening & the experience is beyond words. We started back to Bangalore on Day 4 morning after a night halt at Sabarimala. We visted the Malliyoor Ganapathy temple & also Tripyar Sri Rama Temple on our way back.
