I am a white westerner as well though my dreadlocks firmly proclaim my sect if one knows the signs to look for. Do not be nervous of approaching someone especially a temple priest who should be happy to speak with you as a person interested in the faith. Indian peoples are perhaps some of the nicest people I have met and culturally it is common for a visitor to an Indian Home be treated with great kindness and respect.Be confident and sincere and I am sure you will be just fine. Resolve yourself to the task and put yourself to work because you shall never know until you attempt to realize your task. Without even trying you are unable to gauge whether or not you can succeed and if you fail then try again till your task is done. That is the key...leave no room for doubt or self-doubt and

it cannot exist except where you allow it...eaglesong23 <eaglesong23 Sent: Saturday, February 28, 2009 12:55:36 AM Re: Aghora

Namaste,Arjun- ji

I have just very recently became a member

of this group and already learning alot

of good knowledge.

I thank you for posting this information.

Near my city is a large Hindu temple

but Iam nervous about approaching the Swami-ji

with my being a white westerner.

Iam new to Hinduism
