Guest guest
Richard Ji, I don't think anyone on this forum disputes that. But, the question would probably be whether or not women still having menses can do this worship 24/7 without giving the salagrama over to someone else to worship during that monthly period. The liberal minded amongst us will probably say yes, while those of a conservative bent (both men and women) will certainly say NO.Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 wrote: striyo va yadi va sudra brahmanah ksatriyadayah pujayitva sila cakra labhante sasvatam padamWorship of Salagram Sila can be done by women, shudras (untrained -low caste), brahmanas (twice born), ksatriyas (administrators), etc.and they can all achieve the eternal abode of Lord Krsna perfectly.---(Hari Bhakti Vilasa 5.452, from Skanda Purana, conversation betweenLord Brahma and Narada Muni)Quote taken from http://www.shaligram.com/worship.phpSend instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger. Guest guest
Sure! That's how I can tell when my wife has her period, because the temple is not cleaned and the flowers, etc. are not ready. I have to do that during her period. This is her understanding.
