Auspicious Buddha's Birthday Full MoonGreetings,I hope you are well, happy and peaceful. At this Full Moon 2538 years ago the Blessed Buddha awakenedby completely perfect and unsurpassable self-Enlightenment!Completely fulfilling 'the 7 factors of enlightenment' and finally calmingof all Craving and absolutely stilling the mind. Fully & perfectly Enlightened - The Buddha - perceiving this immenseglory, spoke these 2 solemn verses, which never has been omittedby any of countless thousands of prior Buddhas:"Through this round of countless existences have I searched yetfailed to find 'the Creator', who framed this formation:What Misery is indeed such Endless Birth, Ageing, Decay & Death! Now I see that 'the Constructor' of this

structure is Craving...!!!Never shall this construction be build again, as all the rafters areshattered and the main beam is busted & broken."..:At this Fullmoon Day all Buddhas Awaken:Know that Helping Others helps Yourself!Know that Harmlessness is the prime Protection!Know that Meditation is the Way to Calmed Bliss!Know that Dhamma Study is the Way to Certainty!Know that the Noble 8-fold Way makes Deathless!'The 7 factors of enlightenment': * mindfulness, * investigation of the dhamma, * energy, * rapture, * tranquility, * concentration, * equanimity. The foundation of transformation is avoiding doing harm to others. We mayinjure others with abuse, slander, sarcasm, and deceit, or by acts of

omission due to insensitivity andthoughtlessness. The most subtle way of harming others is indirectly by means of our thoughts, judgments, and attitudes. When the mind is dominated by hostility, we may beviciously attacking others with our thoughts. Although no apparent injury may be inflicted, these thoughts affect us internallyand may even result in serious disease and influence our way of interacting withothers, not to forget how much thoughts affect one's karma and power of attraction. So the initial theme of Dharma practice is a nonviolent approach to our own lives, to other living beings, and to ourenvironment. The basic foundation of Buddha's teaching is developed through meditation, resultingin sensitivity of awareness.Central to the development of awareness is observationof one's own mind and thoughts. There are several Buddhist techniques which when practised with

effort result in onebeing able to cut through the negative mind states at early stage.Hencenegativity, anger, hatred, greed and delusion will find no fertile ground to takeroot, and are replaced by understanding of love, kindness and compassion. There are eleven advantages are to be expected as effect from the release of mindinto friendliness; One sleeps Happy! One wakes Happy! One dreams No Evil dreams! One is Liked & Loved by all human beings! One is Liked & Loved by all non-human beings too!One is Guarded & Protected by the divine Devas! One cannot be Harmed by Fire, Poison or Weapons! One swiftly Attains the Concentration of Absorption!Ones appearance becomes Serene, Calm & Composed! One dies without Confusion, Bewilderment nor Panic! One reappears after death on the Brahma level if one has penetrated to no higherlevel in
