Guest guest
Friends, In continuation of the subject I must ask WHY 99.9% of Hindus who use Navaratna have ALL JUNK STONES & PHONY PEARL? Even rich Hindus use junk stones and phony pearl Navaratnas... I saw a jewelery store in Singapore for Hindus and ALL, 100%, of the Navaratnas they had were awful worthless JUNK. I asked why? The reply was, " THAT IS ALL THAT HINDUS WANT! " Consider: 1) Navaratna gems are small, so why do they use worthless junk? 2) Why don't Hindus use FINE QUALITY small stone Navaratnas? 3) Do Hindus understand the difference between visibly CLEAN or visibly FLAWED? Between GOOD and BAD? 4) Are Hindus too cheap or miserly to spend the small money to get FINE GEM Navaratnas? The ANSWER IS WAITING!??? BTW: The 0.01% of Hindus who actually have fine gem and natural pearl Navaratnas MUST HAVE GOT THEM FROM Astral Gemstone Talismans. So, WHAT IS THE ANSWER? Prove me wrong! Anyone? sacred-objects , Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 wrote: > > Question. In India I never ONCE met any Indian wearing a Navaratna where the gems were good. Guest guest
Hello everyone I think that its not the problem with Hindoos but with Indian but since majority of Indian are Hindoos we can say that problem is with Hindoos. Most of them are unwilling to spend vast sums of money on these because all they have seen is Junk and never had chance to see/experience real power of gems. Even the Hindoos abroad have inherited faulty genes/mentality from their ancestors in this regard. And I am pretty sure that this ignorance, unawreness towards not only gems or astrology but entire Hindu culture is due to past invasions and ruling of Mughul and British Empire. These foreign invasions and alien rule has destroyed the Hindu Culture. Regards,Amit M. RupaniOn Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 2:14 PM, Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 wrote: No Baba! That is not the answer. Guest guest
Dear Richard Ji,You are 100% right in your opinion. I have observed most of the people wearing Navratna rings having low quality gem stones in their rings, other than maybe the diamond in some cases. Even the Jewelery stores selling Navratna rings have low quality gems in the Navratna rings. I have observed this in Dubai as well in Mumbai. The only way is to buy good quality loose stones of the nine planets and give them to a reliable Jeweler to make them into a Navratna ring as per the correct placement .This is the reason I have opted to wear a good quality flawless gem suitable for me , rather than to go in for a Navratna Ring. I have observed from the photo's posted on ur site that You have high quality Navratna Rings. Maybe If And when I visit Thailand in the future, I will drop in our store and go for a good Navratna Ring. Thanks for the output on this subject.Best RegardsBijay Acharya Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66sacred-objects Sent: Wednesday, October 29, 2008 12:44:01 PMSubject: Re: Sri Navaratna - WHY DO HINDUS USE JUNK STONES??? Guest guest
Dear Amit, Yes, you are right. The Muslims did a lot of harm to India. And that is a shame. But my post only concerns the common sense message that if we are going to use Navaratna - 9 gems talismans, then the gems being small, there is no reason to use junk. The conclusion is that Hindus, who believe in Navaratna, should use good quality gems, as per direction of Hindu shastras, such as Sri Garuda Purana. I am just a messanger. The messege or problem is to be attacked, not the messenger. And the problem is to be solved. It is nothing to do with me or anyone personally. I get some hate mail from nationalistic idiots who think they are THE MATERIAL BODY. Where they just attack me and avoid the issue completely. But as I learned years ago in Golden Gloves (I used to be boxer) that you THROW a punch to strike, but you DUCK when someone throws a punch at you. So I do not read hate mail and just delete without reading. The conclusion is that Navaratna gems being small there is no reason not to use good quality. And the solution is for Hindus to insist on good quality gems from the jewelers. Where there is demand there will be supply. So the solution is with the consumer. And education is the key. Guest guest
Dear All, In India the jewelers are the " Gurus " of gems. And yet they (99%) mislead and cheat the public in order to sell junk stones to poor (and rich) people at high profits. Good stones are not dirt cheap like junk stones and bogus pearls. So if the teachers are corrupt and bogus cheaters then the public is fooled into ignorance. So, in fact, it is the Hindu jewelers who are at fault. But it is the duty of the public to seek out the truth. And, I, for one, am ready to give the TRUTH. Guest guest
Dear Richardji, Your observation is 100% correct with Navratna rings, personally I have never used a Navratna ring but what I have seen is pure 100% junk except on one occasion. Even my aunt once ordered a custom Navratnaa ring for his son in which she only selected the Diamond rest Asht-Ratna were selected by jeweller and as you can guess they were JUNK. The exception I mentioned is when I meet Neetaji at her office she showed my Navratna pendants of yours and even though small they were magnificent gems. Secondly mos Hindoos have not read Gita so we shouldn't be expecting them to to read Puranas. Education is the only way we can make them understand the purpose of gems. If you want to harness the power of gems use fine quality gems otherwise refrain from using them. The ignorance is so much with gems that once a client was asking for 7 carat Diamond when his income is mere 60000/year. and on other occassion someone asked Pukhraj of 5-6 carats in price of Rs.1200-1500. Guest guest
Dear Amit, Absolutely correct you are!!! " Niraasta kuhakaam satyam param dimahi " - for the removal of darkness we meditate on the REAL truth. This means education. And education comes from willing discriminating disciples and qualified Gurus. In case of Hindu jewelers they are 99% the biggest bunch of ignorant rascals I ever met. They can show a heavily cracked junk stone to a prospective client and tell them it is a " clean gem " . This is called " dog-faced liars! " But it is the duty of the student to reject such lies and non-sense. When the Sun is shining I reject any Guru who tells me it is night. When a gem is junk I reject any Guru who says it is clean. We can blame the bogus Hindu jewelers for lying and cheating, but we must also accuse the student of being a first-class idiot, and not believing their very eyes. There are most all Hindu jewelers who belong in jail for lying, just as there are most Hindu puja dealers who belong in jail for fraudulently selling WHELK shells as Lakshmi Shank. THIS REALITY is the purpose of this group. To remove darkness with light. And when I say " Hindu " I am referring to myself as well. I have read Gita 20 times, and Puranas, Mahabharat, Ramayana, as well as Upanishads and studied different tikas of Vedanta Sutras. I'm initiated as a Brahmin in 1967. I'm pure vege diet. I worship Shalagram Shila with REAL lakshmi shank since 1973. So I am an honest " Hindu Jeweler " who is NOT a liar nor fool. I don't mislead and cheat people. I am less than 1% of Hindu Jewelers. Most are shameless rascals who should be tarred-n-feathered in public. But what exactly is the meaning of a " Hindu " - though born in India, who are non veg, do not worship Bhagavan, and have never read the Gita!?? Even many Muslims are born in India - does THAT birth in Hindustan make them Hindu? Any Christian who has not read Bible, any Muslim who has not read Koran, any Hindu who has NOT read Gita, they are ALL nonsense, and belong to no religion. So the purpose of this group is only served when I stir up the ocean of amrita with TRUTHS. Otherwise it is a silent group getting nowhere. Guest guest
Respected Rupaniji, I read and reread your comments, dharam karam, and sanskar comes from family. It is not called education. e.g. sishtachar is in born, hence every Hindu gets from his family, and family is full of knowledge. 'A bad carpenter always blames its tool" remember the famous saying of Guru Nanakdevji " EK NA KAHI DOOSRAE NA MANI, GURU NANAKJI KAHE DONO GYANI. AND ONE MORE THING" GO TO RIGHT PERSON E.G. ONE WHOSE IS BRAHMIN. OR A VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE PIOUS PERSON. Please i dont want to interfere, but i am God fearing., and i am really hurt. binode kripalani 09831664581Amit Rupani <amitr1981 wrote: Dear Richardji, Your observation is 100% correct with Navratna rings, personally I have never used a Navratna ring but what I have seen is pure 100% junk except on one occasion. Guest guest
Rspd Sriman, Can everyone wear Rudraksha? YES. Does everyone wear Rudraksha? NO. Can everyone wear Navaratna? YES. Does everyone wear Navaratna? NO. What does " CARAT " have to do with anything? There is no word nor weight " carat " in all Sanskrit language. Carat is an English word that is not same as a Ratti. To wear a SRI Navaratna of Jyotish quality gems requires ONLY good fortune karma. Guest guest
Respected Kripalaniji, I am still a student(studying law formally) among you all learned people and I was not blaming anybody just stating the facts. The position of our culture is that if one is Hindi speaking he is hated in Maharashtra. I pity myself that being a Sindhi I am unable to read/write my mother tongue since I was admitted to english school. So I didn't got that education from anywhere. This is the way western values and culture overtook our " sishtachar " If I dont know something how can I teach my son that? Richardji, I belong to family of jewellers(we have left goldsmithy from about 3-4 generations) and my many relatives are still goldsmiths and own showrooms when this question was put to some of my known relatives that why thet sell fake or junk gems their reply was - " If I wont sell he will buy from somebody else, how many customers should I lose to truth? " so they blame buyers and buyers blame jewellers... its a loop sir And Bijay Acharyaji you dont need to go to Thailand Navratna Rings & Pendants from Richard are available in Bombay with Neetaji you can contact her.On Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 7:52 PM, vasdev kripalani udharam <binnumero wrote: Respected Rupaniji, I read and reread your comments, dharam karam, and sanskar comes from family. It is not called education. e.g. sishtachar is in born, hence every Hindu gets from his family, and family is full of knowledge. Guest guest
Dear Mr.KriplaniJi,Regarding your query, I am not qualified enough to answer that. As far as I know it is better to wear individual gems favorable to you . If you know your birth details and can get your horoscope done than you can go for a good quality gem favorable to you. Naturally if you want benefits you will have to invest in a good quality gem which will be of help to you, rather than take a shortcut and wear a Navratna ring with small stones. Navratna ring is Ok if the quality of the gem stones are good and if you do not know your birth details. I can only suggest that u go in for a Navratna pendant with bigger gems; but then the costs will be very high. You see the pros and con and decide what is best for you.RegardsBijay Acharya vasdev kripalani udharam <binnumerosacred-objects Sent: Wednesday, October 29, 2008 6:28:35 PMRe: Re: Sri Navaratna - WHY DO HINDUS USE JUNK STONES??? Guest guest
Hi Guys, In India people dont wear junk/low quality of gemstones just out of mind. They are very much aware about the quality of the stones required. I am a Gemologist and a jewellery too. The problem lies in their budget. The major populatio is middle and low class and they cannot afford fine quality gems. So they have to opt for medium and low quality gems. Also i would lke to tell that gems from Bangkok/ Thailand is of not much great quality. They have been treated with chemicals and permanently dyed. Here ppl prefer Gems from Srilanka which are of much better quality for astrological purposes than a fine quality of gemstone from Thailand. And i am sure any true and spiritualy enlightened person will agree with me when i say that Wearing and gemstone or chanting mantra will change ur life . Its only astrologers who have half knowledge for their own selfish motives play with the minds of people asking them to wear so and so stone and perform pooja. Its only ur deeds good/ bad that is the reason for what u are facing , where u r and where u will be. For leading a good life all one needs is Think good, feel good and do good. Guest guest
Dear Rahul, The point is that Hindus are to believe in Shastra praman. About poor cheap bad quality junk stones and bogus pearls Shastra has said (a few examples): " Pure, flawless gems have auspicious powers which can protect one from demons, snakes, poisons, diseases, sinful reactions, and other dangers, while flawed stones have the opposite effect. " GARUDA-PURANAM: Chapter 68, Verse 17 " A gem free from all impurities and radiating its characteristic internal luster should be looked upon as an escort of good luck. A gem which is cracked, fissured, devoid of luster, or appearing rough or sandy, should not be used at all. " AGNI-PURANAM: Chapter 246, Verse 7 & 8 Sri Garuda Puranam, it is stated by Sri Suta Goswami, " A ruby, although genuine, should not be worn if it has strong color banding, excessive inclusions within like numerous internal cracks, a sandy appearance, a rough surface, or is dull and lusterless. Anyone using such a flawed ruby, even out of ignorance, will suffer from disease, or loss of fortune. " ---So as a jeweler who is Hindu it is your duty to advise poor people NOT to wear bad gems. " Jyotish Quality " gems can be expensive, or cheaper if you use " uparatna " semi-precious gems. And only those who have money OR are not misers can afford good gems. So what is a jeweler in Indian doing selling BAD gems? Is this just out of greed? If a man comes and says " I want to drink poison " will you sell to him just out of greed? Because gems are valuable (when good) so they are called gems. Junk is not called gems, it is called trash! That is why it is better to advise poor people away from bad gems. Rudraksha are very low priced and always do good. So please advise rich clients to buy GOOD gems, and poor clients to by GOOD Rudraksha. That is the correct way., Any jeweler who sells junk, either from Sri Lanka, or Bangkok, or the Moon, is to be condemned. And such person can never join the PGA www.p-g-a.org because we have RULES. If in deed you sell junk to poor people, against advice of Shastra, then you're a rascal, and the REALLY GREEDY ONE. And, may I ask, WHY you stock JUNK stones for sale? Don't you have any class? Guest guest
dear friends!Trash gemstones, are not gems at all, they are just dead energy cells causing diseases and misfortune..just the fact that flawless gem is alive entity, wich took some few hundred thousands of years to develop, even up to million years and more, means that quality gemstones are pricelles comodity in that respect...just look at the fact that by wearing jyotish quality gemstones, you are as an individual in a possesion of thousands of years old entity, and if you are sincearly recpecting that fact, than you are aware of the true beauty of life, wich manifests, in this case as a crystalised form created by combinations of different elements... excuses likem "if I dont sell junk navaratna, buyer will go to another shop and he is going to buy it from somebody else" is patetic...the whole idea of buying quality gemstones goes far beyond material value ...in my experience, for the first jyotish quality gem I bought, I was working for 6 month for free(I was payed 6 month in front, in order just to buy a gem), and when I finally got my gem, I realised that the knowledge I gained ,just by phisically having the gem in in my hands, goes far beyond than knowledge that we can gain by teachings of sacred texts...no wonder that original anicent knowledge remains hidden.... ps...can you make navaratna from secundary gemstones? If it can be done, than it would be possible for everybody to have beneficial navaratna talisman, for modest price... best wishes & kind regards vjenceslav sacred-objects From: rsbj66Date: Sun, 2 Nov 2008 15:02:52 +0000 Re: Sri Navaratna - WHY DO HINDUS USE JUNK STONES???Dear Rahul,The point is that Hindus are to believe in Shastra praman. About poorcheap bad quality junk stones and bogus pearls Shastra has said (a fewexamples):"Pure, flawless gems have auspicious powers which can protect one fromdemons, snakes, poisons, diseases, sinful reactions, and otherdangers, while flawed stones have the opposite effect."GARUDA-PURANAM: Chapter 68, Verse 17 "A gem free from all impurities and radiating its characteristicinternal luster should be looked upon as an escort of good luck. A gemwhich is cracked, fissured, devoid of luster, or appearing rough orsandy, should not be used at all." AGNI-PURANAM: Chapter 246, Verse 7 & 8 Sri Garuda Puranam, it is stated by Sri Suta Goswami, "A ruby, although genuine, should not be worn if it has strong color banding, excessive inclusions within like numerous internal cracks, a sandyappearance, a rough surface, or is dull and lusterless. Anyone usingsuch a flawed ruby, even out of ignorance, will suffer from disease,or loss of fortune."---So as a jeweler who is Hindu it is your duty to advise poor peopleNOT to wear bad gems. "Jyotish Quality" gems can be expensive, orcheaper if you use "uparatna" semi-precious gems. And only those whohave money OR are not misers can afford good gems. So what is ajeweler in Indian doing selling BAD gems? Is this just out of greed? If a man comes and says "I want to drink poison" will you sell to himjust out of greed?Because gems are valuable (when good) so they are called gems. Junk isnot called gems, it is called trash! That is why it is better toadvise poor people away from bad gems. Rudraksha are very low pricedand always do good. So please advise rich clients to buy GOOD gems, and poor clients to by GOOD Rudraksha. That is the correct way.,Any jeweler who sells junk, either from Sri Lanka, or Bangkok, or theMoon, is to be condemned. And such person can never join the PGAwww.p-g-a.org because we have RULES.If in deed you sell junk to poor people, against advice of Shastra, then you're a rascal, and the REALLY GREEDY ONE. Guest guest
Yes!!! Absolutely right! The Hindu jewelers are to blame for stocking JUNK stones which are harmful ... just for the poor people. So what is this? The poor people get the " bad luck " trash, and remain worse off; but the rich get the lucky Jyotish quality gems and life improves. The jewelers of India are the GURUS to the public in gemology. If a poor man comes for luck he should be advised against junk and advised a cheap Rudraksha. If rich man comes then he can buy LUCKY top quality GOOD gems. The jeweler should NEVER stock junk for sale!! What if a sweet-milk-rice seller adds 'sand' into the sweet rice!? Then no one can eat it! He should only sell pure sweet rice. The sad fact is that most of the Indian gem gurus, the Hindu jewelers (like Rahul by admission), buy and stock JUNK and are rascals who are responsible for the problem. It is not that EVERYONE can have a gem. What if a poor man wants to buy a Lear Jet Airplane costing crores. Well, sorry! HE CAN NOT HAVE ONE!!! We don't sell him a broken kite. But sure, uparatnas can be used in jyotish quality. But Hindu jewelers even stock junk semi-precious. " Junk " is their middle name. But good quality alone is worthy of praise, in all fields. Like a junk person is never praiseworthy. Junk food is never praiseworthy. Sweet rice with sand is never praiseworthy. And people who sell JUNK are always rascals. Using semi precious GOOD QUALITY gems one can make a cheaper Navaratna like: SUN: red garnet MOON: Moon stone JUPITER: Citrine RAHU: orange zircon MERCURY: Peridot VENUS: White zircon KETU: Fibrolite cats eye SATURN: Iolite MARS: Carnelian These above in small Navartana sizes like 4-5mm cost peanuts. So where is the place for JUNK? In no field or area of life is JUNK any thing but JUNK. So maybe a Hindu jewelery shop should be called " Junk Yard!? " It is the blame of the jewelers for stocking and selling JUNK. Rather they should be teaching the clients what is right and wrong. And stocking only RIGHT. Wrong is wrong and right is right. But the Hindu jewelers buy, stock and sell junk to unlucky misguided poor people. That is terrible and despicable. And MUST be condemned by all!!! Guest guest
Thanks for the comments, but there has to be reason for Gems to exist. But i know it should have both good effect and bad effect.I had read in one of the books ,if one wears a Gem in Shukla Paksha during one nakshtra, it gives good effect. Thanks, for the fitting reply, dont forget in India we find every individual is an Doctor. binode kripalaniRahul S Pokarna <pokarnagems wrote: Hi Guys,In India people dont wear junk/low quality of gemstones just out of mind. They are very much aware about the quality of the stones required. Iam a Gemologist and a jewellery too.The problem lies in their budget. The major populatio is middle andlow class and they cannot afford fine quality gems. So they have toopt for medium and low quality gems. Also i would lke to tell thatgems from Bangkok/ Thailand is of not much great quality. They havebeen treated with chemicals and permanently dyed. Here ppl prefer Gemsfrom Srilanka which are of much better quality for astrologicalpurposes than a fine quality of gemstone from Thailand. And i am sure any true and spiritualy enlightened person will agreewith me when i say that Wearing and gemstone or chanting mantra willchange ur life . Its only astrologers who have half knowledge fortheir own selfish motives play with the minds of people asking them towear so and so stone and perform pooja. Its only ur deeds good/ bad that is the reason for what u are facing, where u r and where u will be.For leading a good life all one needs isThink good, feel good and do good.RegardsRahul S PokarnaOn 11/1/08, Rick Brown wrote:>> ---to be greatest in the world we must know over 6 billion people.
