Guest guest
The created world has witnessed 5 bonafide Jagadgurus, out of which four are Vaishnava Theologists. The order of their appearance, Sri. Nimbarka Sri. Ramanuja Sri. Madhava Sri. Vallabha The GV branch propagated by Sri. Chaitanya, owes its theological base to Sri. Madhava. It is strange to note that Sri. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu & Sri. Vallabha cohabited Earth concomitantly but never crossed each other's path. Out of all the branches of Vaishnava Theology, Gaudiya Vaishnava Sampradaya is the most exoteric, & thus was perhaps most suitable for the Kali Yuga. Strange is it not that all the five Jagadgurus (Shankara included) were born in different time frame's. But i am sure all they shall all be exchanging notes in UttaraBadri, the ashrama of Sri. Veda Vyasa, as all of them owe an allegiance to him in some way. Jai Jai Ram Krishna Hari Add more friends to your messenger and enjoy! Invite them now. Guest guest
Hiya Anne..... No offense its UttaraBadri.... The ashrama of Sri. Veda Vyasa. Its location is esoteric, it exists on earth (Himalayas) but on a different plane!!!! Sri. Veda Vyasa, also known as Sri Krishna Dvaipanaya is a seer to both Advaita & Dvaita traditions. Your Janma Nakshtara is UttaraBhadra..... Namaste!!!!!--- On Wed, 25/2/09, anne thakur <annethakur wrote: anne thakur <annethakur Re:The Vaishnava Jagadgurussacred-objects Date: Wednesday, 25 February, 2009, 4:32 AM that is my moons nakshatrauttarbadrathankyou for you post Check out the all-new Messenger 9.0! Guest guest
Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was also into advaita and dvaita, but it was dvaita-vaad that he lived. And his Sampradaya tika of Brahma Sutra establishes DVAITA as supreme, and also THEISM. Lord Chaitanya once said, " Mayavadi bhasya shunile hai sarva nash " - if you hear the advaita philosophy your (spiritual) life will be completely ruined. Vyasadeva himself a shaktavesh-avatar explained the Brahma sutra in his Srimad Bhagavatam, and clearly established " Theism " (belief in God) as the highest purush-artha. The 4 primary Vaishnava-Acharyas are, 1) Nimbarka, 2) Ramanuja, 3) Vishnu Swami, and 4) Madhvacharya. They were " Bhumi-Gurus " . - To use the term Jagad-Guru is absurd when we are tiny human creatures on this tiny Earth, tiny little gurus, with little clue about the other life in the vast Jagat (Universe) around and beyond our solar system. Bhagavan IS jagad-guru. But for advaitavaad there is NO Bhagavan. There is no God nor intelligence within Brahman-sayujya. Thus the creation makes no sense, and is, therefore, called as " False. " But Maya is NOT false. Maya-shakti is material energy of God (Shaktiman). Maya is REAL. God is real. We, the jivatmas, are also real, and Vaikuntha or brahman (spiritual existence) is REAL.
