Valampuri is SHANK (Conch), Whelk is whelk. A dog is not a horse in spite of

having 4 legs. Would you like to bet me a million dollars that I am right? Ask

expert Chandra Shekarji.

This is not the forum to exhibit stupidity.

Dear Sriman,

In this group we have learned members and we all know what is what. Since Oct

2005 we have been uncovering the truth of Lakshmi Shank, if you do a message

search you'll find years of research. First of all, Lakshmi Shank belongs at the

top of a science known a Conchology, and whelk has no place there, belong, as it

does, to the species of Whelk (BContrairium). They are not even related to conch

and differ in X-rays, and other points. Selling whelk shells as " Lakshmi Shank "

is listed as " Fraud " anywhere in the world. Any Conchologist will concur. Please

see this link for more information: http://www.p-g-a.org/conch-artl.html (from

PGA). There is no disagreement in our 1000+ person group regarding the truth of

Lakshmi Shank, which, by the way, cost about 6,000-20,000 Rs per gram these

days, depending on Jati type or smooth milk Lakshmi Shank like shown by Chandra

Shekar. The real thing is not so easy, as it should not be. So live and learn in

this group, there's no more debate on Lakshmi Shank being

" Dakshin-turbinella-pyrum " and NOTHING else can ever be Lakshmi Shank as found

in Indian Oceans from Burma to Sri Lanka. The whelk are imported by rascals who

play off the stupidity of even the Brahmins (who didn't know - just like you)

and are sold to the people for $100, more or less, and that is all they are

worth. You get what you pay for and if you want a real Lakshmi Shank this group

has real suppliers. But the Lakshmi Shank should NOT be cheap! You must spend up

to a crore to get a really good milk Lakshmi Shank, which are not seen even in

London's Museum of Natural History. Only Pt Tata, backed by Chandra Shekar have

shown the ultimate in Lakshmi Shanks.

Best wishes,

Richard

dear richardjiwhat you said may be right i agree,i just projected an idea that is all,now what you said about lakshmi shank may be correcti just searched a real puranic support,if somebody haseven some say showing the shank with three or five lines as said to be seen in real vishnu shanks as lakshmi shanktheir argument is it is a male type projection and so it is vishnu shank and that without projection lines as lakshmi shanki invite ahindu puranic suppotive chapter if anybody has on this alsocertain researches extend to more time and it is good to do more reasearches on a subject which reveals more realityalso understand the fact that even in london museum it may not available but in india kerala and in tamilnadu india,in many brahmin lloms(houses),these are there, that also cost may be crsyou are having much

erudition on many subjectsmany in the groupo also have, but nobody in the line of spiritual jnana say that what one knows only is correct and all others are wrongi know that, it takes nearly 20 minutes for real empowering of vishnu and lakshmi shanks in tantric rites, with many vedic mantras(as we know, conchology does not know this science)but nowadays brahmins not knowing this does only a 3 minute rite for thiswith ages many things become unknown,we are careful about this that is why i searched hindu puranic chapters if anythank youkrisnaa,, executive engineerb.e ,a.m.i.e--- On Thu, 11/6/09, Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 wrote:Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 Re: Real and unrealsacred-objects Date:
