Dear All,

I wanted to mention that in Thailand there are many famous talismans, and many

famous monks, mostly living away from society, but constantly being bothered by

society asking for fortune telling, good luck, and other non-spiritual things,

in exchange for nothing they really want.

Some of the Amulets contain remains of famous past Monks who held great Yogic

powers, and highly venerated. Amulets from such a monk are highly sought.

There are even some temples in Thailand where the great monk died sitting in

meditation, and remained in that position - undecayed, to present day. I have

seen several. It's quite amazing.

Thai's also believe in astrological gems, a LOT more so than Indians. In fact,

in India Navaratna is not mentioned in any shastra. But it Thailand Navaratna is

offical symbol of the king, as well as The Order of Navaratna (Nopparatna in

Royal Thai=9 gems) a great honor only bestowed by the king. So Thailand is much

more faithful about Navaratna than India, Nepal, Srilanka, etc., where an

serious study shows it is a just a superstition.

In fact, when it comes to Talismans the Thais are way ahead of the Indians.

Like, the largest collection of Lakshmi Shanks is in Thailand, and so many

different gems and talismans, and lucky charms.

The only thing they didn't know was about Rudraksha, but that has changed since

I became Thailand's agent for Rudra Center (Smt Neetaji) and started promoting

them, specially 14 mukhi. Many Thai HiSo consult me, and consider me to be an

expert in Talismans, but not in Buddha Talismans. There are many experts and

even magazines about Thai Buddha Talismans in Thailand. But when it comes to

gems I'm the man in Thai Society, all the way to the tip top. That's why we made

history by being moved into the Royal Patronage " The Siam Society " in Bangkok.

An honor never before bestowed on any company.

Best wishes,

Richard

Y/s,

Richard
