MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!Everyone, specially Indians, I think the REAL and Global success achieved by Indian, Farrokh Bulsara (stage name: Freddy Mercury), who is widely considered the greatest Rock n Roll singer-performer (in group, Queen), his REAL success is millions of times greater than fictional Character Slumdog Millionaire. Farrokh Bulsara has sold 300,000,000 albums officially as of 2009 (ref. Wikipedia). He passed away at the age of 45 due to illness caused by AIDS. But his music is still alive and considered greater than the Beatles. Certainly he was a better singer than anyone. The Benefit concert organized in his honor is the largest such event,

with greatest number of Stars (including Liz Taylor) for any entertainer in History so far. And he was Parsi Indian from Bombay.So forget Slum Dog Millioniare, and remember

How about the shy Indian boy who moved from Bombay to London and became the greatest Rock n Roll singer in History - stage name Freddy Mercury, RIP. This performance at Live Aid is voted by UK's BBC as "Greatest Live Rock Gig of All Time."

Yes, born in Zanzibar, raised in Bombay, moved to London at 17. Many famous

super-stars have stage names, and it's hard to tell who is Jewish, or what.. And

decision to not mention his background was purely commercial. For years I never

knew he's a Bombay-walla. And I just realized that recently. As such he's the

first to achieve what no other Indian NOR Westerner, could achieve. Rock n Roll

Saint hood!!! When it comes to Rock Music he was greater than any Westerner.

Which is amazingly long trip from Bombay. On behalf of Bombay I'm proud of him.
