Guest guest
dear shiv bhakt om namo bhagawate rudraya vijayawada is my native place i visit this temple frequently for one more significance i.e. this temple has the rare nagalingapushpam tree in its premises. these days some devotees offer small statues to the temples once they do the poojas to them at their homes. since any idol or statue of a god needs to be performed with daily poojas and a grihastha cant do these, they offer them to temples. some people secretely keep them inside the temple premises or near the peepal tree which most temples have. the statues you observed are also similar ones given by some devotees. as per the tenets on worshipping idols, navagrahas are worshipped outside the sanctum sanctorum of any main temple. also no other god's idol is kept alongside or in the midst of the navagrahas. these days due to lack of space, some temples are keeping all dieties including navagrahas within the same temple premises and making them looklike multigod complex with idols of all gods under one roof. there are also practices of worshipping the planet in whose star the native is born. some priests in the south also advise worshipping the ruling lord of that planet as well along with that planet. hence you may find occassions where the planet and the ruling lord both were worshipped in juxtaposition. some people who consider their rahudasa or planet rahu may be causing ill health and even untimely death, resort to worshipping lord mrityunjaya and then do worship of this planet along with the lord mrityunjaya. in view of the above, you may ignore these as isolated cases where idols of other gods found place with the navagrahas. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun www.rudraksharemedy.com , srinivasan Natarajan <kethubles wrote: > > Dear members, recently we visited a temple in vijayawada {sriganga, annapurneswari samedha, sri kasiviswanadha swamy waru} where in theline of navagrahas there is a small sivalinga, with his concert parvathy{they sayit mrutunjaya},between rahuand lord shani, then lord sri anjaneya in betweensurya and sukra. in our experince we have never seen anywhere like rhis. when asked with the puujari, there was no explenationsby him .can any ofour groupmembers couldexplain this.{The temple is located in between Swarnamahal, & annapuranatheatre} Regards srinivasan natarajan > dear " endurance.patience " <endurance.patience wrote: Dear sirs, Is there a site for mp3 bhajans, especially of lord shiva…?? > There is one album of lord shiva called " Shiv Gaura ki dekho jodi " ….it has many wonderful songs, can someone tell me where to find it in kmp3 and download it?? > > Regards, > kanishk > Don't pick lemons. > See all the new 2007 cars at Autos. >
