Bhrugu Maharshi and Puloma had a Son Chyavana Maharshi.

Chyavana Maharshi and Sukanya had a Son APNAVAANA .

Apnavaana married Ruchi and they had a Son RUCHIKA .

Ruchika married Sathyavathi , d/o, Gaadhi of Kusika Dynasty.

JAMADAGNI MAHAA MUNI is the son of Ruchika and

Sathyavathi , and Father of BHAGAWAAN PARASHU RAAM

aka Bhaargava Raam and Vatsa.

JAMADAGNI'S wife is RENUKA DEVI

One day Jamadagni was upset with Renuka and asked His sons

to behead Her and when the others refused PARASHU RAM

came forward and obliged His father and immediately with

Jamadagni's Grace brought back ReNuka Devi to Life and

from then on RENUKAADEVI is considered to be a Goddess

in HER own Right. OM RENUKA DEVYAI NAMAHA.

JAMADAGNI had a KAAMADHENU " KAPILA " cow. which

supplies all that is needed to JAMADAGNI daily.

Local Ruler KAARTHAVEERYAARJUN coveted Kapila,

and when refused Killed JAMADAGNI . At that time ParashuRaam

was away doing Thapas and Renuka Devi Called out 21 times

for ParashuiRaam . In due course ParashuRaam returned,

saw what happened and after performing all the necessary

obsequacies , went around 21 times destroying all despotic

rulers including KaarthaVeeryaarjun , his sons and others.

After venting all HIS anger ParashuRaam gave away all the land

HE conquered to HIS Guru KASHYAPA PRAJAAPATHI .

Since then Earth came to be refered as KAASHYAPI.

Kashyapa distributed the Earth among the surviving rulers.

PARASHURAAM is Vishnu , a Great Shiva Bhaktha .HE was

upset when Dasaradha Raam broke Shiva Dhanus in Mithila ,

went there post haste to confront Lord Raama and realised

that HE and RAAMA are same , surrendered all HIS powers to

RAAMA and retired to Mahendra Hill in KeraLa where even

today HE is doing Thapas. OM NAMO BHAARGAVA RAAM.
