Guest guest
Om Namah Sivaya The Vel is the Jnana Sakti of the Lord. Its tip is wide, long and sharp, signifying incisive discrimination and Spiritual Knowledge, which must be broad, deep and penetrating. It destroys ignorance and restores the Jiva to its original abode of pristine glory. “ The Jiva at first remain in a stage of ignorance. He is not conscious of God, but of the multiplicity. He sees many things around him. On attaining Knowledge he becomes conscious that God dwells in all beings. Suppose a man has a thorn in the sole of his foot. He gets another thorn and takes out the first one. In other words, he removes the thorn of Ajnana, ignorance, by means of thorn of Jnana, knowledge. But on attaining Vijnana, he discards both throns, knowledge and ignorance. Then he talks intimately with God day and night. It is no mere vision of God.” ---Sri Ramakrishna Tirumantiram by Rishi Tirumular (verse 2363): Transcend Knowledge and Ignorance and Reach Siva Jnana Knowledge and IgnoranceBoth transcending,Abandoning senses five,And immanent becoming,Himself as Jnana,And Jnana's pervasivenessJiva stands. Tirukural by Tiruvalluvar (verses 356): Those who find the highest Reality here and now follow a path which never comes back to this world. Sivaya Namah What kind of emailer are you?
