Question regarding Kundalini

Om Namah Sivaya

Namaste,

Has anybody practised Anulom-vilom pranayama (being popularized so

much by Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev these days) ? According to Baba, the

" While performing this Pranayama there develops a feeling in mind

that as a result of friction and churning of breath in Ida and

Pingala Nadis, there is awakening in Susumna Nadi. A divine light is

rising upwards from the eight Chakra to the Sahsrar Chakra.

.........

If this Pranayama is practiced for 250 to 500 times a day, Kundalini

Shakti turns its face upward and begin to rise above through the

susumna Nadi. It means that the phenomenon known as Kundalini Jagran

begins. "

Anybody has tried this particular pranayama for some time or any

similar experience ? If it all the process begins, what does it feel

like for the initial few days ? Please share.

regards,

Shailendra

Namaste There is lightness of the body, the scent of the body changes - there is a sweetodor that exudes. Depending on the level of impurities in the body and nervoussystem in particular, one will notice mild or strong vibrations of the body. Thetemperature of the body will rise and weight loss should also commence. If the experience is particularly strong, all semen, saliva and fecal matter shouldalso be "burnt up". Sometime there can be profuse perspiration, this results in isan expiation of toxins and natural cooling of the body.It is EXTREMELY important when this occurs to do several things.1) Breathe evenly and in a relaxed way.2) If dizziness or giddy feelings occur lie down flat3) Wear no clothes on the upper half of the body- allows for natural heat dissipation4) Drink/Sip cool water frequently (5-6 glasses)5) Eat no salt as this will

contribute to the rise in blood pressure.6) Do not eat food that is highly spiced, eat fruits or steamed vegetables. Due to chemical reactions this can trigger nausea and vomiting7) Bathe frequently in cold water, (4-6 times per day should be adequate)8) Concentrate on Ajna Chakra - you should have Visions or hear sounds/messages- write down what the are so that you don't forget them. Also notice any particular sensation in what areas of the body and smells.Namah SivayaBest RegardsPandit Devindra Maharajbhatnagar_shailendra <bhatnagar_shailendra wrote: Om Namah Sivaya Namaste, Has anybody practised Anulom-vilom pranayama (being popularized so much by Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev these days) ? Hello Dev Maharaj-ji,

Just a few clarifications:

1. What did you mean by " burnt up " ?

> If the experience is particularly strong, all

> semen, saliva and fecal matter should

> also be " burnt up " .

2. With regard to visions/messages, did you mean that

you'd have these during the meditation or at any time

during the day if you are regularly practicing

meditation on the ajna chakra? In addition, what do

the sensations in the different areas of the body

imply? Say that I feel vibrations only in the heart,

throat and ajna chakra areas during meditation and

absolutely nothing in the lower chakra areas, what can

I infer from that?

Thank You,

Vijay

Namaste1. What did you mean by "burnt up"? If the experience is particularly strong, all semen, saliva and fecal matter shouldalso be "burnt up". I meant exactly "Burnt up" - The temperature of your body rises sometime to as high as 110 Degrees or even higher. It is specifically important to keep your head cool by pouring cool water, if the temperature of the brain exceeds 107 degrees under normal conditions you can damage the brain and become a comatose person or die. When this occurs due to the enhanced energy and temperature all traces of Semen Saliva and Fecal matter are used up by the body so no traces of them remain. 2. With regard to visions/messages, did you mean that you'd have these during the meditation or at any time during

the day if you are regularly practicing meditation on the ajna chakra? This occurs spontaneously both in meditation and anytime during the day.In addition, what do the sensations in the different areas of the body imply? 1) Energy is operating but not flowing in these areas2) Potential Blockages in Chakras or Nadis - The energy is supposed to flow unimpeded3) Areas of disease that are being

healed/neutralized by the energy Say that I feel vibrations only in the heart, throat and ajna chakra areas duringmeditation and absolutely nothing in the lower chakra areas, what can I infer from that? The energy is operating in the higher regions as there are possibly no blockages in the lower areas. The idea is to discover what these sensations mean by meditating on the sensation you experience to find out what is causing it ( your subconscious mind will inform you if you ask ) Namah SivayaBest RegardsPandit Devindra MaharajVijay Venkatraman <venkatblr99 wrote: Hello Dev Maharaj-ji, Just a few clarifications: 1.
