When does Mahashivaratri Navaratra starts on Chaturthi or next day

Dear devotees,

 

Many devotees celebrates Mahahashivaratri Navaratra in their

homes or at temples. As far as my knowledge, I celebrate this

Navaratra from the next day of Chaturthi. But to my mind there is

doubt about exact date of starting this Navaratra. I would like to

request to those who have knowledge about panchang, should throw light

on this.
