I think this request from Maha Deva Shambu is a Spam.

For that matter no body will go to Benin City to see the funds are used for the purpose it is meant to be used.

I ffe abusing Lord Shiva's name will do no good for us.

This fraud is again sending to cheet all devottes, I already called my friends at Nigeria and enquire about it , they said it is a spam. also . now a days we are recieving many this type , request as won lottery, transfer money , transfer gold to your account etcc.. most of them are coming from Nigeria.

dear devottes please take care.. If it is true lord siva knows how to make a temple for him in what source.

Dear Sri Sivananda Dasa,

Namaskar. It is a great boon to have an opportunity to construct the temple of Lord Siva. Sastra is very clear in this. All can not do this. Because opportunity to construct a temple for Lord Siva or to light a lamp there one gets by the good deeds of many many births. This is the dictum of the Sastras.Don't be baffled by the words of some Siva Dweshis. Those crooked people do not understand truth. You are a pulnyathman. Go-ahead with your plans. without the Grace of Lord this thought would not have come to your mind. He is with you. Make all the devotees to assemble one day at a commonplace or in the temple itself . Do Maha Ganapahy Pooja to remove all impediments and all of you unitedly take a vow to construct

the temple by his Grace. Pray deep in your heart to give all courage, help and show the way an He will do everything and take you in right path and fulfil your ambition. May He be with you. I have no doubt that you will succeed.

I can confirm what Sri Ravindran is saying; There are many, many fraudulent activities coming from Nigeria. These are commonly called 419 scams. I am not decrying this gentleman or his claims, only urging my fellow devotees to utilize caution in the face of a known issue. I encourage you to perform your due diligence in all things.
