Guest guest Posted December 6, 2008 Report Share Posted December 6, 2008 Dear Sir, Actually there are strict procedures to make/prepare Bhasma. It should be prepared only out of pure cowdung. Cowdung cakes are heat processed for a week or More till it become white ash. Only on Sivarathri(monthly)day the ash is collected and they make it soft by Vastrayana with chanting Siva Mantras and Panchakshara. All the packed Veebhuthi Packets in the markets are not good and not prepared as per system. We have-to get it from Go-salas where they prepare this with pure cowdung. Swami Atmananda of salem prepares pure Bhasma and supplies. We can also get it from Chennai Kadhi Bhandar in Mount Road.Vibhooti-Bhooti:-Ishwaryam-This is so auspicious. With regards.
