I find it to be an excelant service to all of us if wav file or

mp3/midi file is made. This being a simple voice, mono recording with

min. sample rate etc. may not take more than 10MB a file size which can

be handled. Further if it is a chanting and repeatation of the same,

only a part can be recoded and sent we can reconstruct it later or can

be sent in cut form etc. We are eager to listen to the file. Pranam

Hello Bhakta Stephen

There are lots of ways to reach to the Lord and which ever way (any

religion) you follow but with honesty and sincerity it will take you to the

Lord.

What is this Destiny?

MOKSHA or Mukti should be everyone's destiny the ultimate spiritual goal,

designating the individual soul's release from the bonds (bandha) of

transmigration. The soul, once entered upon a bodily existence, remains trapped

in a chain of successive rebirths (samsara) until it has reached perfection or

the enlightenment that allows it release, or moksha. The methods by which

release is sought after and attained differ, but most consider moksha to be a

person's highest purpose in life.

God Bless

Dear Mridul, I don't know your age but I think it is too early to get this longing to know about MOKSHA. However, I am not a pandit -Jnani, but try to help with my limited knowledge.First one should know one's own Parents thoroughly - love & respect them in spite of their good & bad traits; family privileges; educational fecilities for any possible improvements so that your inherent talants find opening for better understanding; if you are Indian try & read the sacred scriptures in your regional translations; try & understand the "arishad varga"- the six main impediments in human life - Kama, Krodha, Moha, Lobha, Mada and Matsarya - how to conquer them with rigorous practice as explained by sadhakas like Ramakrishna Paramahamsa etc. -cultivate & practice LOVE, forget & forgive attitude, help serve needy within your capabilities

Hello Bhakta StephenThere are lots of ways to reach to the Lord and which ever way (any religion) you follow but with honesty and sincerity it will take you to the Lord. What is this Destiny?MOKSHA or Mukti should be everyone's destiny the ultimate spiritual goal, designating the individual soul's release from the bonds (bandha) of transmigration. The soul, once entered upon a bodily existence, remains trapped in a chain of successive rebirths (samsara) until it has reached perfection or the enlightenment that allows it release, or moksha. The methods by which release is sought after and attained differ, but most consider moksha to be a person's highest purpose in life.God Blessom_namah_shivaya_ group@ s.com, "Bummer1962" <bummer1962@ ...> wrote:>> Namaste!> You said ' "Om

Greatly explained Prasadrao Garu, the greatest truths are very simple but hard to follow in practice, if we attempt to follow the principles you mentioned then Moksha or grace from God is attainable. Also there is a mis-conception that people should not worry about moksha at a young age, but actually youngsters should be taught about moksha and spiritual principles so that they will sow right seeds when they are young so that they can grow spiritually when they become old.

the seeds of spirituality are bhakti, truth, respecting parents, respecting teachers, respecting God, respecting fellow being, respecting Nature, prayer, forgiveness, thankfulness, living in compassion and controlling desires these qualities lead us to god and moksha, if youngsters learn these it will put them in the right path in their life both spiritually and otherwise.

Once the foundation is based on the above principles God gives the follower techniques like Meditation, Kriya Yoga, Mantra Chanting, Kundalini Yoga etc to accelerate the spiritual growth.

Sprituality is part of us, it is very simple if we follow these principles, Spirituality has been complicated because a lot of people give more importance to the techniques than the real foundation. Foundation brings gods grace, which leads to Moksha.

In olden days children were taught these principles and they followed them, but in this current world spiritual values are lost and so we are seeing a lot of Greed, Ego and suffering.

In Divine Love,

Om Namah Shivaya,

Divakar

Namaste!

You said ' "Om Namah Shivaya" is the ultimate mantra that will take you to your destiny '. What is this destiny? Christians have a heaven with streets of gold and pearly gates. What is the ultimate destiny of one who chants this most holy mantra?

Good question. Meant for wiser heads than me. But let me share what I believe.

Every religion has a promise of a heaven and a hell. In fact per Hinduism there

are thousands of subtler and grosser regions than our material universe that we

call heaven/hell. However, none of them is our goal. A person with a lot of

meritorious deeds goes to a heaven and then when he uses up those deeds he/she

comes back to this plane. The obverse is true for the hells.

The Goal of all spirituality is to merge with the Supreme SELF. In the Shaivite

tradition, this Self is called Shiva. Siva is the supreme self dwells that

within everyone and everything in this universe - sub-atomic to Galaxies.

The process of chanting mantras, meditating removes our focus from the material

world. I've heard this process being described as destroying the 'ego', or a

'total surrender to God'. It has also been described as polishing the window to

our soul. Whatever the nomenclature, God is already within you and all the

chanting does is clear up the shrubbery of your mind - to give you a clear

sight. There are many paths that do the same. Once the ego is destroyed, one

merges with the supreme 'self'. After that there is no returning to the material

planes. This is the Goal of chanting 'Om Namah Shivaya'

If you've not already done so, I would suggest you also read the works of Ramana

Maharishi as well.
