Guest guest
Om Namah Sivaya "When an unbaked pot is broken, the potter can use the mud to make a new one; but when a baked one is broken, he cannot do the same any longer. So when a person dies in a state of ignorance, he is born again but when he becomes well baked in the fire of true knowledge and dies a perfect man, he is not born again. A grain of boiled paddy does not sprout again when sown. Only unboiled paddy sends forth the shoot. Similarly when one dies after becoming a Siddha, a perfect man, he has not to be born again, but an Asiddha, an imperfect man, has to be born again until he becomes a Siddha." --------Sri Ramakrishna Sivaya Namah
Guest guest
It is very good. Thanks for Sharing. When a person has desires left, then he has to take birth again to fulfill those desires but when he has no desires left, then he does not take birth again. regards, kanishk. selvauk wrote: Om Namah Sivaya "When an unbaked pot is broken, the potter can use the mud to make a new one; but when a baked one is broken, he cannot do the same any longer. Guest guest
Mukti i.e. liberation from the cycle of rebirth is well known aspect of Hindu religion. When can a person attain mukti is a debatable proposition. What I feel is that this particular aspect is enshrined in Hinduism to keep people on right tract and lower the sins. But in todays enviornment how many people adopt correct life style?--- On Wed, 4/15/09, Parthasarathy Gopalan <gsarathy32 wrote: Parthasarathy Gopalan <gsarathy32Re: Death and Reincarnation Date: Wednesday, April 15, 2009, 10:08 AM compre between identical things. pot/grain..baked/ cooked..known facts. why do you compare with abstracts which cannot be proved. pl give an acceptable example.. all of us know the joke. Guest guest
YOU ARE RIGHT SRIRAM. ONLY PEACEFUL MIND CAN PERCEIVE THINGS IN CORRECT PERSPECTIVE. BUT TODAYS CAPITALIST SOCIETY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MANY PROBLEMS WE ARE FACING. ALMOST EVERYBODY IS ASSESSING THE OPPOSITE PERSON IN TERMS OF CAPITAL AND IS COMPETING WITH HIM TO GAIN AN UPPERHAND. UNLESS THIS ATTITUDE CHANGES ,YOU CANNOT EXPECT IMPROVEMENT. AND WHATEVER CULTURAL PROGRESS WE ARE WITNESSING IN EVERY RELIGION IS DISTORTED. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO NEED FOR BIG BUILDINGS FOR TEMPLES ,PROMOTION OF TOURISM IN RELIGIOUS PLACES ,EXTRAVAGANT CELEBRATION OF FESTIVALS ETC;--- On Wed, 4/15/09, Sriram S <sriram_s_98 wrote: Sriram S <sriram_s_98Re: Death and Reincarnation Date: Wednesday, April 15, 2009, 8:56 PM Hi, janma karma cha me divyamevaM yo vetti tattvataH |tyaktvaa dehaM punarjanma naiti maameti My birth and activities are divine.
