Hari OMSome More quotations from Bhagawan Satya Sai Baba`s discourses and books on MOKSHA (LIBERATION) are reproduced below:-G.Balasubramanian

From 1008 pearls of Sayings of Bhagawan Satyasai Baba

"We talk of Moksha. What is it? It is only giving up the Anatma, the unreal. Suppose you want a tumbler of fruit juice . unless you throw away the water already in the tumbler you can not pour the juice in the tumbler. Similarly, unless you give up materialism, Atmabhava (spirituality) can not come to you. Moksha is not a distinct and different Sadhana. It is only giving up unnecessary desires. Through anger wisdom is lost. Disharmony is the cause of anger. of disharmony, jealousy and of jealousy ignorance is the cause."

"Moksha or Liberation results from the breaking of the Mind with all its vagaries and wishes. You have to break your Mind but, how can you do it when the fibruous armour of sensual desire encompasses it? Remove it and dedicate the Mind to God and smash it in His prescence. That moment you are free."

From Prasnotra Vahini

Q. "What is the means of gaining Moksha"?

A."Vigjanam is the means"

From SATYA SAI SPEAKS VOL.11

"Liberation consists in realising the reality behind all the transient and manifold phenomena."....... Moksha(liberation) is no special and exclusive heaven into which one has to earn admission. It is not a special status or acquisition or possession. It is just a removal of the false notion that we are bound by the body, the senses, the intellect, the mind, the ego and other fancies."
