Just a reminder that the Kumbha Abhishekham at the Puthur Shiva Temple in

Peritalmanna, Kerala is from Nov 5-11, 2009

 

This Shiva lingam is over 1,500 years old and extremely powerful. So, if you are

able, go and get Lord Shiva's blessings.

 

If you have relatives in Kerala, please inform them (and tell them to pray for

us expats who can't be there !!!).

 

Seven of our japam participants went to the temple recently and there

The invitation for the Kumbha Abhishekham says:

 

Copper plating of the roof over the 1,500 year old Puthur Shiva Temple in

Perintalmanna, Kerala has been completed and a Dravya Kalasam (Kumbha

Abhishekham) under Tantri Brahmasree Narayanamangalath Damodaran Namboodripad

will be held from November 5-11, 2009

 

Tila homam and Maha Sudarshana rituals will also be performed on all these days

to seek forgiveness for any mistakes that may have been knowingly or unknowingly

committed during the renovation process. We invite you to attend these

auspicious ceremonies.
