Guest guest
Namaste, We just got this news and wanted to share with everyone immediately. The 7-days of ceremonies connected with the Kumbha Abhishekham at the Puthur Shiva Temple, Perintalmanna, Kerala came to an end this morning with Dravya Kalasham, Abhishekham and Samarpanam. Twelve namboodris (priests) took part and approximately 350-500 people came to the temple every day for blessings. (This is a huge number for this small, powerful and ancient temple that people had forgotten about). Prasadam and annadanam were served on all days. We (expat devotees) have been assured that those who sponsored pujas or made donations, but were not able to attend, will be sent Kumbha Abhishekham prasadam by mail.
