Dear Dr. Deshpande,

Thanks for this resource. My students have been using your book for last one

year now. And I am really happy to use this book for teaching.

My course work will finish in the next semester and then I will be working on

my dissertation and comprehensive exams. Before I start getting ready for the

fieldwork and archival research, I would really like to communicate with you

about my project. Right now, all I have is a few ideas about tentative projects.

Just attended the International History of Religions conference at Bangkok,

Thailand. It was a great experience. My paper was about Hinduism in the US.

Currently I am trying to finish a paper on the social functions of history in

Phule and Ambedkar to present at the WAAS in Utah.

Rest all is going great.

Just learnt from Ashok kaka and Vidyatai Sapre (from Los Angeles) that you

have visited them a few times. It was fun to talk about our Israel experience

and to hear their acquaintence with your family.

Please let us know next time you visit Los Angeles and we will be really happy

to host you at our place.

Regards,

Mugdha
