Guest guest
Hi All: It gives me great pleasure to announce the release of the Beta Version of my Ajax Based Online Monier Williams Sanskrit Dictionary at Sanskrit Utilities http://www.sktutilities.com/dictionaryAction.do This is the First Sanskrit Dictionary on the Web which doesnot expect you to guess the Correct Spelling of your Sanskrit Word as you simultaneously view the Transliterated Word. The Data has been gleaded from the Web Sites of Prem Pahalraja and the University of Cologne. Search can be done using wild-cards ( left, right, all ) or the exact Word. ITRANS, Harvard Kyoto and SLP are the Three Choices for Word Input. I shall shortly introduce Auto-Suggest to make this more User Friendly. Also like to add that many non-Sanskrit Characacters like Urdu z, f, q, qh, g etc which were unavailable have now been added to the Transliterator , hence Hindi-Only Users will be able to better appreciate the program. Harvard Kyoto Encoding has been introduced by the Request of a Patron. A Copy to ClipBoard function for the Devanagari/eLatin Output makes it more User-Friendly. Solicit the Kind Suggestions from All Users.
