Dear Chetan, I never cease to be amazed by the fact that as an

Indologist I can access such a massive amount of valuable data from my

living room for no cost other than owning a computer and having an

internet connection.

It is a great service to the pursuit of knowledge and invokes the

spirit of that famous verse from the Bhagavad Gita (BhG 2.47)about

being more tuned in to the task in hand than being preoccupied by the

rewards one might accrue from performing that task.

Thanks to you and all those others who help to make this valuable data

available to all.

Hi Bruce:

It was always my desire to use my IT knowledge for the advancement of

Sanskrit.

Thanks to my vacation, this project - an Old Dream saw the Light of the Day.

I am eager to keep churning softwares for Sanskrit Knowledge Systems if they

have a Wide Scope for Usage, for example the Sanskrit dictionary.

Users will do me a great favor if they drop in suggestions for what they would

deem as programmable Sanskrit Knowledge Systems. I will study the feasibility

and try to implement it.

Do wait for an enhancement of Monier Williams Dictionary which will support

Direct Devangari Unicode, allowing you to enter directly in Devanagari without

needing any transliteration. It is ready but I will not be able to release it

for another two weeks.

I would also like to announce that I hope to have a Scanned eBook Section

wherein rare and out of prints books will be made available. One such book will

be the Dictionary of Sanskrit Grammer of Belvekar.

Also, One of the crucial things I hope to achive is to have the published and

unpublished books of 93 some year old Sanskrit-Hindi Writer Acharya Janaki

Vallabh Shastri made available over their. I will be making a trip to his home

town next month and all books they will allow me to photocopy will be put up for

download. He is one of the few twentieth Century Original Writers of Sanskrit

based in Muzaffarpur, Bihar and critics have raved about him

Thanks for your Kind support and appreciation.

Regards,

Chetan
