Does anyone know if Anju Bist is still at Amritapuri? She is the

woman who assembled the wonderful stories in MY FIRST DARSHAN and then

convinced Amma's organization to publish it.

One of the prison chaplains we contacted in connection with donating

Amma's books to prison chapel libraries said that he wished he had

some real life stories about people who dealt successfully with

addiction, including stories which might not follow the traditional 12

step model. Such stories would inspire the men in prison and give

them confiddence that the battel could be won. We know that there are

many Amma devotees who have emerged from the darkness of addiction

with Amma's grace possibly also using 12 step or other recovery

programs. We wanted to create a book of such stories. Carma Jolly

who has professional writing experience and has won a prize for a

documentary on recovery is enthusiastic about heading up this project.

It would really be great to put Carma in contact with Anju Bist. Any

suggestions on how we could locate Anju would be appreciated and can

be sent to me privately.

If she is still at Amritapuri, could we just mail her a letter?

(What's that saying? Keep it simple?)

Om namah Shivaya!
