Guest guest
Srivinvas, I have asked you nicely to refrain from sending me email to my personal email address. If you have a personal comment about something shared on this on-line satsang, please address it to the whole group. ONS, it not meant as a joke, but only an endearment, as one might call a loved one a nickname. And within certain circles, not at all looked down upon. Bababji was asked once which was right, to write Om Namah Shivaya, or Om Namah Shivay (or something of this nature, as different groups say this in different ways) His response, was that it is not worth our time to think about such minor differences, as this will only cause us discomfort, when we could be in peace. I appreciate your comment, and taking the time to write out Om Namah Shivaya is a holy endeavor, and probably much more potent for the reader, and one writing this holy mantra. --- srinivas kolluri <ksvas97 wrote: > ONS is a big joke. > You made the holiest Mantra a laughing stock. > You American should have ben taught properly. > If you get tired or feel repulsion to write " Oum > Namah Shivayah " , then voluntsrily leave it. > But don't do unlholy things like ONS. > You lack the basic understanding of the Holy > Matra. > Ask Amma about your ONS. > > Oum Namah Shivayah! > Servant of God! > Srinivas > Srinivas means Sri + nivas means who lives with > Sri( Siri = Wealth means Lakshmi) - means Vishnu. > Names have meaning like that. > > > > Stacee Kramer <stacee.kramer wrote: > ONS > > This was passed forward by an Amma devotee; some of > you have received this already. > > Trippy! > > > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzRm4iXlQUY > > > > Part 2 > > > > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbDR8IpkkTU > > > > ABC The Beatles Revolution in re: India > > > > > > > > <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzRm4iXlQUY> > > > Don't pick lemons. > See all the new 2007 cars at Autos. Guest guest
Interesting and thanks for sharing since I am/was a Beatles fan yea yea yea....I think Yoda in Star Wars was from Maharishi if I recall. Also Ringo left early due to illness in India and eventually they all rejected Maharishi. He is a billionaire as I understand and being a former TMer. I have not ever heard of anything being donated to the poor but he continues to charge escalating prices for learning meditations. I was always curious where that money all went. Someone asked Amma about paying money to learn mantras and spiritual practices as such-though not by name so it could be any number of practices. Amma said to run as fast as you can if someone wants to charge money to give you a mantra.
