Guest guest
Dear N, ONS I was there and heard this answer. It was a beautiful answer and ties into the teachings of many other spiritual traditions. It went something like, " Krishna had no wives...we are all the wives of God....Big swami said...Amma is the husband and we are all Her wives. " This is known as the bride and God as the bridegroom in the Judeo-Christian teachings. This is experiential. To try to understand this statement with words is not easy to do. One has to feel the reality of Divine Love, spiritual bliss and ecstasy to understand the meaning behind this statement. The Sufi's speak of being drunk with the Love of God, or the Beloved. Amma, and or God will give you an experience of this when you are ready. It is best to forget trying to get intellectual answers for these questions and to throw yourself into spiritual practice like Karma Yoga, Meditation and Mantra Japa.... Learn to develop a Love affair with God....cry tears of devotion for God.....speak gently to God as if he or she was your most beloved one... You will be sure to receive an experience of Divine Love...and all of these questions will pale in comparison.
