Guest guest
I've waited 10 years > for Amma to invoke the guru-mood more and less > mother-mood, and it just ain't happening. ] Om Amrtesvaryai Namah! Namaskarams! and i believe you will continue to wait forever if you are expecting Amma to exhibit Guru Bhava in the public programs!!! She told one audience that She mostly remains in the Matri Bhava, the Motherly Bhava because if She exhibited the Guru Bhava any more than She does, there wouldn't be any devotees at the ashram...they'd all leave. (this was recorded in the book " Amma's Heart " by Swami Amritaswarupananda) so...don't hold your breath waiting for Guru Bhava in the Western programs! you'll just get purple...and fall over. in Amma's Divine Love, and in Her Service, as ever, your own Self, visvanathan Om Amrtesvaryai Namah! Guest guest
Not just programs but satsangs and people in general. As you can see on this list, people see her as guru, but interact as children. Thus, they go years and not have an increase in awareness. Humility can be an act, knowledge can be from a book. What i don't see is an increase in awareness, a progression of that kind of growth among her devotees. Exception being Swami P, but most of that occurred before he met Amma. An increase in awareness changes many things, especially how one interprets humility and book knowledge. If Amma's swami's were so great as other's like to believe, why would she hoard them all in one place at programs, etc. They're not, they're just like Jesus' and other's disciples: still learning, but had the grace of close association. tom Ammachi , " kasi_visvanath " <kasi_visvanath wrote: > and i believe you will continue to wait forever if you are expecting > Amma to exhibit Guru Bhava in the public programs!!! > > She told one audience that She mostly remains in the Matri Bhava, the > Motherly Bhava because if She exhibited the Guru Bhava any more than > She does, there wouldn't be any devotees at the ashram...they'd all > leave.
