some help- cults

Cults don't force, they manipulate (ie, get someone to do something

you want them to do, by getting them to think it was their idea = no

responsibility on the manipulator). I do think this happens in

certain spiritual circles, even Amma ones, at least from my experience.

 

Cults also trick you into joining, because you wouldn't want to join

if you knew what you were getting into: I think this happens,

though not on a conscious direct level. It happens from

misinformation from ignorant devotees living in their own world

(mind), who pass along inaccurate or incomplete information.
